What is the legal window tint limit in Minnesota?
In Minnesota, all passenger vehicles must allow at least 50% visible light transmission (VLT) on front side windows. Windows behind the front doors on trucks, vans, and SUVs can be any darkness. We make sure every install is fully street-legal.
Do you remove old tint?
Yes. We safely remove existing film without damaging your glass or defrost lines and clean all adhesive residue. Removal can be done as a standalone service or combined with a new install.
What's the difference between ceramic and carbon tint?
Carbon tint gives you a deep matte finish with solid heat and UV rejection — great value starting at $139.99. Ceramic tint uses nano-ceramic technology for maximum heat rejection without interfering with GPS, phone signals, or toll transponders — starting at $239.99. Both block up to 99% of UV rays.
How long does tint take to cure?
Tint fully cures in 3–5 days depending on weather and temperature. During that time, avoid rolling windows down and don't clean the inside of the glass. Any small haze or bubbles you see during curing will disappear on their own.
Do you offer pickup and drop-off service?
Yes. We pick up your vehicle, complete the install, and drop it back off — so you don't have to rearrange your day. Available throughout the Twin Cities metro.
Do you tint trucks, SUVs, and vans?
Yes — we tint all vehicle types including sedans, coupes, trucks, SUVs, vans, and specialty vehicles.
How long does a window tint installation take?
Most full vehicle installs take about 2 hours. We inspect every job before the vehicle leaves and walk you through cure time and care instructions.
What tint percentages do you offer?
We offer carbon film in 5%, 15%, 20%, 30%, 40%, and 50%, and ceramic film in 5%, 20%, and 50%. Minnesota law requires front side windows to be at least 50% VLT — we'll guide you to the right percentage for your vehicle type.
